Women along with man, from time immemorial, has formed an integral part of social structure. Her role in the various walks life contributed to evolution values which have counted for, what may be described, all round progress. status is measuring yard for assessing standard culture any age. This article examines right and women during Mughal Period India.In sixteenth seventeenth centuries, Indian society was characterized by patriarchal norms gender-based disparities, facing numerous challenges limited opportunities.Dependence on their husbands or other male relatives a prominent feature this period. Females were expected remain seclusion modesty. The medieval period not that progressive. key cause was, there prevalence dominance. lack aspect day live. They allowed express ideas views. dedicated towards implementation household responsibilities. In addition, they overwhelmed practices polygamy, sati, child marriage, female infanticide. However, amidst these constraints, some remarkable emerged as influential figures politics, cultural patronage, economic activities. Their contributions resilience continue inspire shape narrative women’s roles empowerment history. Improvements came about conditions advent Islam given rights.
